Very much in the Kerman style, this finely woven central Persian urban scatter is the product of a short-lived carpet industry in the capital city of Tehran between the wars. The horned ivory subfield displays a stepped and lobed pendanted navy medallion, with flowers and stems flowing gracefully around, on a cochineal red field and within navy and ivory corners. Navy abrashed to teal green main border with double-layer petal palmettes and five-petal flower corner turns. Good condition, crisp pile. .
