The top Bidjar quality is the ‘Halvaie' , almost always in small scatters, with a high knot count. This attractive Kurdish town rug shows a navy indigo field with slightly broken vinery, various palmettes and bent leaves, organized by a central petal rosette, with accents in light teal, sand and rust-red. Narrow abrashed red-to-rose border of palmettes and forked leaves. Amazingly, the handle is pliable. Good condition. Upright pile of excellent nomadic wool.
