DESCRIPTION

NW probably single Wefted, made in Eagle design to sell into Western Markets as a cheaper alternative to Caucasian Rugs. Sometimes in runner format. Dark centre medallion is not found on genuine pieces production started in the later 19 the century all cotton foundation. Turkish knots moderate weave. Top medallion is larger to fill out extra loom space. Reversing turtle border not Caucasian. Excambles are not dated.
