Antique Mohajeran Sarouk Rug 4'1'' x 6'4''
Mohajeran village is famous for its top quality Sarouk group weavings, usually with royal to sapphire blue grounds, as here. The interwar detached flower spray pattern is attractively spaced. The main border is light rose with rosettes and a leaf meander. Very well woven, medium-fine weave, good condition. A scatyter from an increasingly appreciated period.
