Hamadan's and Sarabs of this period both employ wide, plain camel-tone outer borders, and the best way to tell them apart is to look at the weave: single cotton wefts on Hamadan's, double wool on Sarabs. The mocha camel-tone field is overlaid by a tiny flower and lozenge lattice, with a central ivory lozenge with extended pendants and en suite corner motives. Pale blue and milky camel borders. Thick, soft pile. Good condition.
