DESCRIPTION

This east Caucasian well-woven scatter is basically a study in blue tones: royal blue for the field and abrashed medium-dark blue in the border system. Three hexagonal red panels enclose each an eight petal ivory rosette, and this motif reappears eight time. in ivory and blue in secondary field elements. Numerous borders including a blue and red main border with fractured, geometric curled motives and an inner second border with a calyx and slanted leaf design. Well-woven original close-clipped pile, wool foundation. Good condition.
