Vintage Aubusson Design Tapestry 11'10'' x 15'5''
The straight-sides, domical ended ecru sub-field shows a seme of nine offset rows of roses, with a surrounding straw-sand field with paired cornucopias and lateral flowering acanthus scrolls. At each end of the sub-field is a roundel enclosing a rose bouquet. Rope-twist border. Tapestry flat weave. Wool pattern wefts. Good condition.
