DESCRIPTION

Heriz Carpet Antique. In the â€ڑأ„أ؛Bakhshayesh'' manner, with an open, abrashed madder rust-red sub-field, floating a stepped, lozengoid navy medallion with a pale blue centre. The actual field is in an abrashed teal to medium blue tone, with an allover smooth leaf pattern. The straw Zanbakiآ¬â€  border features irises, rosettes and divider bars. The colour changes in the red field amply show the work of distinct weavers.
