A characteristic production of the village weavers of the Chahar Mahal district of western Persia, with a crisp red field supporting a Heriz-style navy multi-point medallion enclosing an sharp, ecru 16-point sub-medallion. Bright medium blue extended corners. Ecru main border with weeping willows, slender cypresses and three posy flowers. Saturated palette, medium weave. Good condition.
