DESCRIPTION

This central Chahar Mahal area village carpet shows a seven by elven “garden'' windowpane panel design with mihrabs, weeping willows, flowering vases, twinned feathery fronds and blossoming stems, with grounds of cream, navy, rust-red, green and medium blue. Red border with in-and-out palmettes. Saturated colors. Cotton foundation, medium weave. Good condition.
