DESCRIPTION

The rust-rose-salmon field shows a close rendition of the classic â€ڑأ„أ؛In-and-out'' palmette 17th century pattern around a four palmette central cross in green, black, straw yellow and light red. Light olive green main border with reversing palmettes. Diagonal palmettes in the corners. Sometimes called the â€ڑأ„أ؛Shah â€ڑأ„أ²Abbas'' design although most period carpets were woven in India. Cotton foundation and well-woven. Urban origin. Good condition.
