Four Cedar Waxwings' theme originates from Christi Belcourt' s love of “the intricate beauty of all nature'' and the idea that all things are interconnected. “Perhaps there isn' t a more perfect looking bird as the cedar waxwing,'' says Belcourt.

This artwork is inspired by Elder Mary Wemigwans' quote: “the health of the animals depends on the health of the earth, and we depend on the health of everything.''
