This relatively recent NW Persian, thick pile piece, shows a scalloped, elliptical red field hosting a bold navy octogrammme eight-palmette medallion with particularly emphatic layered palmette pendants. Rust red corner projections on conjoint ivory corners. Balanced navy-black border with reversing turtle palmettes. Saturated palette. Moderate weave. Good condition.
