DESCRIPTION

This classic "American style" west carpet of exceptional strength and durability shows the characteristic mulberry red field covered by a quadripartite detached floral spray pattern, accented in green and blues, focused by a small central blue-black rosette. Navy border with five-petal fan palmettes and oblique bud sprays. Heavy and firm construction on a cotton ground. Medium weave, village origin. Good condition.
