This recent Kurdish town scatter has the typical solid Bijar weave, with a relatively short, compact and resilient pile. The cardinal red field shows an allover Herati design in cream, salmon and green, overlaid by a navy and ivory palmette, pointed octofoil medallion. Navy arabesque corners and navy border with forked acanthus, palmettes and rosettes. Good condition.
