Ivory fields are an Isfahan staple and this very finely woven, cotton foundation, does not disappoint with its red palmette octogramme medallion with a sky blue sub-medallion; with a soluble escutcheon and cartouche pendant system, and with palmettes, leaves and arabesques flowing smoothly around. Red border with ragged escutcheons and triple level arabesques. Upright, velvety “Kurk'' pile. Good condition.
