This northern Indian, well-woven piece shows an ecru field centred by an open four palmette indented cruciform, escutcheon open arabesque pendants, and a scatter of forked acanthoids and petal palmettes. Ecru corners defined by more forked acanthoids. Sand-straw border with well-spaced slightly ragged, reversed palmettes. Recent. New condition.
