DESCRIPTION

The abashed slate blue field displays an iconic Kashan type red lozengoidal medallion with a stepped and lobed outline and pendants enclosing petal palmettes. A variety of palmettes swirl in the field, and are constrained by dark red and ivory corners with twisted outlines. Blue-green main border with upright and tilted, reversed palmettes. Fine weave, upright pile. Good condition.
