DESCRIPTION

The old ivory sub-field is densely occupied by a vinery displaying fan palmettes and is centred by a pale blue quatrefoil within an open stepped, lobed and four pointed medallion. Powder blue field. Panel-Abrashed navy border with rosettes, cypress and triangular palmettes, and barbed leaves. Short velvety Manchester wool pile, cotton foundation, fine plus weave. Good condition considering the age and use.
