DESCRIPTION

Four slate stepped half medallion project in from the border onto the ecru field. The central cruciform medallion tonally recedes into the palettes and angular field vinery. Large cloud bands along central axis. Slate border with stained glass rosettes and palmettes, and connecting and blossoming stems. Cream outer minor with a zig-zag. A piece from the early Mohtasham period, C. 1885. Fine weave, good condition.
