The light blue field features a 16 point complex circular medallion with palmette and cypress tree pendants, floating floral sprays, and semi-e suite quarter medallion corners with boteh projections. Red half circles at the four field sides with small, acute leafy projections. Navy border with numerous boteh and cypress variations. A Kerman fantasy carpet in the best sense of the word. Probably 1930's. Fine weave. Wide, carefully chosen palette. Good condition.
