The tomato red madder field shows a two-column allover pattern of two sand botehs and two straw spiral acanthus volutes forming modules around sand four-point stars. Elaborate petal rosettes, radiating boteh and spot assemblages, and other unusual devices fill in around. Ecru ivory border with rosettes, palmettes and slanted leaves. Excellent, broad natural dye palette with salmon and teal details. Cotton foundation. Medium-coarse village weave. Good condition.
