DESCRIPTION

This is a “Mishan'', i.e. urban style, west Malayer, with a palmette pendanted navy medallion with a scalloped edge, and a dominant sunburst rosette and radiating palmette cruciform centre. Ecru-straw field filled with flowers and curvy stems, and navy corners with arabesques. Light rose-tan border with triangular palmettes developing from a meander. Fine weave on cotton, thin and flexible.
