There are town/urban Malayers and village/rustic Malayers. The latter, as here, show more geometric forms. The eggshell field displays rust octogramoidal medallion, with large and small double pendants. Along the sides of the field are finger-fringed light blue elements. A few birds are scattered in the field. The narrow rust border features rosettes. Cotton foundation, moderate weave, softer palette.
