DESCRIPTION

A seven by nine one way windowpane panel "garden" design adapted from Chahar Mahal carpets features a symmetric layout of upright large botehs, weeping willows, mihrab arches, flowering vases, volute acanthus arabesques and budding oblique shrubs, all on teal, red, carrot and navy grounds. Ivory square lattice supports the whole. Red border of petal rosettes and paired small cypresses. Cotton foundation, well-woven with erect short pile. Good condition.
