DESCRIPTION

We love Heriz-area carpets and this characteristic example shows a stepped red field, cream corners, and a broadly stepped navy medallion with stepped red sub-medallion and ecru fringed central lozenge. Fringes, barbs and paired hooks everywhere. Mustard minor borders with rosettes and navy main border with reversing turtles in royal blue, mustard and burnt salmon. Medium-coarse weave, cotton foundation. Good condition.
