The floating flower sprays in the otherwise open rust-red field are a trace of the "American style" pattern, as are the corner and medallion developments, but the basic layout shows a scalloped cream lozenge medallion and equally scalloped doubly pendanted corners. Near black border with alternating oval and exuberant palmettes with intervening floral sprays. Medium weave. Good condition.
