DESCRIPTION
This Ancient Regime style tapestry-woven flat carpet shows a nested, multi-level round medallion in a Neo-Classical style, on a small burnt salmon field with volute cornucopias. Many-lobed ecru central rosette sub-medallion. Wide beige main border with dense floral groups alternating with diamonds-in-octagons. Totally formal and aristocratic character. Nothing proletarian here. Good condition.
