DESCRIPTION

The post WWI French-American style SE city carpet shows an open, cartouche shaped straw-sand sub- field with a filigree surround and en suite slender elliptical medallion. Lattice-work field with Louis-style corner, side and end elements. Generally soft tonality emphasizing pistachio, tan, cream and straw, with a very few touches of medium blue. Well-woven, thick pile. Good condition.
