This superior “Serapi” grade rustic NW Persian Carpet show a discreetly centralized design of lazy and upright palmettes in red, cream, teal, straw and rose, along with fat forked arabesque “goosenecks”, on an attractively abrashed salmon-gold field. The rust main border in the strip style shows roughly drawn reversing turtles with supporting rosettes and sickle leaves in royal blue, cream and straw. Full natural dye palette, cotton foundation. Good condition with very slight end reduction.
