Refers to a very wide range of Sub-Continental pieces, both pile and flat-weave, in virtually any style and weave quality, from the 17^th century onwards, from Delhi, Mirzapur,  and a bewildering number of other places; on cotton, ranging from coarse to extremely fine, in cotton, wool or silk. Inexpensive to very expensive.
