DESCRIPTION

This all-stripe, no border textile patterned piece whose equal bands in rust red and abrashed burnt salmon, with an overlaid, three band wide potentially infinite pattern of Baroque volute acanthus leaves and Italian velvet style leafy palmettes. Contour carving of design elements. Both antique and contempo blended successfully. Moderate weave, cotton foundation. New condition.
