This room sized nomadic, Central Asian piece shows a simplified palette of red, red-rust and black, in three columns of nine octagonal, tribal guls, with simple hooked, open minor guls between. Numerous borders with a narrow main stripe decorated with floating, radiating motives. Moderate/coarse weave on wool. Flatwoven end finishes, each with a cord sewn through. Vintage. Good condition.
