This slit-tapestry technique flat rug shows a particularly broad, often abrashed, palette including: rust, tangerine-orange, denim blue, spruce green, pale green, straw, goldenrod and ruby red, all on the sandy ground. The four column pattern of connected hexagons alternates with full and half-ashik chains. Lozenge, arrowhead, hourglass and stepped cross intermittent borders.
