This relatively recent, west Kurdish city carpet on cotton retains the traditional board-like hands and ultra-compact weave. The scarlet field is closely patterned with a small, repeating Herati, all supporting an octofoil navy medallion with vasiform pendants, and an ivory octofoil sub-medallion. Discrete matching corners. Narrow navy border with petite reversing turtles.آ¬â€
