DESCRIPTION

This Balkan Sharkoi tapestry woven rug shows a giant central bouquet within a hexagonal frame, all on a rich red ground, with sketchy lobed corner motives. The similar red border show roughly drawn flowers which are accented in yellow and blue as with the central bouquet. Moderate weave and good condition.
