In an imaginative 19th century style, with a patterned elliptical central medallion, on an ecru field, with converging vases, roundels, fictive standards and various decorative acanthus fragments. Shield corners, and a border of balustrades and guilloche sections. Slight bitonal motif modelling. Vaguely Baroque, related to the "Berain" 17th century tapestries. Recent. As new condition.
