The Afshar tribes of SE Persia are incredibly versatile, weaving nearly any pattern, in either knot type, with wool or cotton foundations. Here the natural old ivory field shows eight offset rows of leftward botehs, with small floral fillers between. Red border of octilobes and rosettes. Medium weave. Good condition.
