This well and solidly woven Kurdish town carpet shows a green, interlace, elongated octogramme medallion on a saturated red field with petal palmettes, palmettes incorporating cloud bands, aroids, rosettes and leafy stems. Half-pendanted corners with arabesques. Abrashed green reversing turtle strip style main border. Cotton foundation. As new condition.
