DESCRIPTION

This modern tour-de-force NW Persian finely woven city scatter shows an old ivory field densely covered with smallish curled leaves and fantasy palmettes, centred by an elliptical medallion with acanthus leaf scallops, and set within a pale green inner frame similarly edged. Buff main border with floral swags, some penetrating the inner minor border. Sienna-rust, pale green, pink and sky blue details. As new condition.
