DESCRIPTION
This recent Kurdish town rug of uncommon format, shows an ecru field very evenly patterned with a formal, small-scale allover Herati design, within a border system including a coral red main stripe with a reversing ragged turtle palmette pattern. Very firm and robust. Well-woven. The Tabriz influence is evident. As new condition.
