Fine Antique Farahan Rug 3'6'' x 5'0"
Not a Farahan, but an interesting Sarouk from the same area, with a crimson field, vase-centred palmettes and a central stacked eight petal star. Secondary tones include: cream, medium blue and straw. The main medium blue border shows a chain of forked leaves and stencil palmettes, and is flanked by ecru minors. Leathery texture. Well-woven, good condition.
