The urban rugs made in the enormous NE province (see also Meshed), with repeating patterns, long carpet formats (kellegis), soft wool, jufti knots (knots on four warps) and cochineal as a red source. Few early scatters and no room sizes. Basically 18th –early 20th centuries. Medium weaves. Medium to expensive. See also Herati.
