DESCRIPTION
The straw-sand field shows a nine pole allover one-way pattern of attached â€ڑأ„أ؛bug'' palmettes, adapted from 17th century â€ڑأ„أ؛Transylvanian'' archetypes. The originals show fewer pole and relatively larger palmette motives. Straw sand border of symmetric, bitonal oak leaves. Red and beige-tan accents overall. An unusual carpet with impeccable design lineage. Cotton foundation, medium weave. Good condition.
