The gently abrashed tomato Madder field shows a small Herati design flowing around a navy eight crenel medallion with an ecru sub-medallion. Conjoint navy corners show arabesque points and hooks from the field. Near-black strip-style main border with reversing turtles, rosettes and boteh-leaves. Very compact and robust weave with a dense pile of Kurdish tribal wool. Kurdish town work. Medium weave. Good condition.
