DESCRIPTION

This moderately woven southwest nomadic large scatter presents a very dark blue field with stylized "Qashghai gul" corner medallions, overlaid by a layered, fringed and hexagonal red subfield with leaves, rosettes and octagonal motives swimming around a central; red octagon diamond with a further "gul". Chocolate main border with eight rosette stems alternating with octagons, pinwheel rosettes or ashiks. Well packed, moderately heavy weave. Wool foundation. Good condition.
