DESCRIPTION

This is an absolutely iconic Interwar Period Kashan scatter from central Persia with a red/navy/cream palette expressed in a tall, lozenge medallion, swirling arabesques with petal palmettes, and a navy border with two palmette types connected by a round vine. Fairly fine and even weave with a nearly upright pile, in good condition.
