Vintage Kashan Rug 4'7'' x 6'10''
The attractive almost light blue field displays a pendanted red medallion and ivory sub-medallion with eight radiating arabesque palmettes, repeated on a larger overall scale in the extended corners. The arabesque bracketed palmettes of the red main border pierce the secondary stripes, indicating a date just before, or more likely after WWII. Classic central Kashan drawing. Good condition.
