Antique Qashqai Rug 4'8'' x 8'5''
From a neighbouring tribal group to the Qashghai of SW Persia, this all-wool construction long rug shows two columns each of five hooked diamonds, which together flank a column of four complete dark blue diamonds, with mixed, appropriate side and corner fillers. Two geometric S and Z narrow borders on ecru and royal blue. Medium weave, with condition issues at one end with corresponding sectional border loss.
