DESCRIPTION

This very finely knotted central city workshop small scatter shows a rainbow-colored silk warp. The palette is characteristically Isfahan with a cream field, very dark red flaming lozenge medallion and medium blue floating corners. Sickle leaves often overlap palmettes in the field. Dark red border with petal palmettes and light blue cartouches. Short, "kurk" pile. Good condition.
